Movement medicine: A Journey of Awakening
Our School provides workshops ranging from 2 hour classes to weekends, intensives and Ongoing Groups. Taking time to integrate the work of Movement Medicine into daily life is an integral part of our school’s philosophy and approach to teaching. Some of our more advanced workshops have prerequisites that we have put in place in order to maximise the benefit you can receive from them and ensure that you have the movement vocabulary needed to do so.
We offer a mosaic of workshops and we encourage you to follow your own interest and self-knowledge in choosing what to study. At the same time, there is an optimal sequence that we recommend for those who wish to take an intentional journey with us.In June 2009, we will be beginning an Apprenticeship Programme for those who wish to personally apprentice with us. This involves a deep commitment from both teachers and students.
Spiritual Enlightenment quote
"Movement Medicine teaches the practice of uncovering and embodying the qualities of soul that each of us is born with. It is a day-to-day dance to see our lives in the wider perspective that the soul offers. Through disciplined practice, we become more relaxed in our being and at the same time, more focused and effective in what we do. Ultimately, the Dancing Warrior is free to dance in creation with what we call The Great Choreographer so that the dreams we hold deep within can become a reality for ourselves, our families and communities, and for the generations that will follow. The workshops are the training ground and life is the canvas on which the Dancing Warrior creates. We invite you, not to follow us, but tofollow your own truth. The work we offer is not the truth. It is a pathway that gives you the opportunity to find your own truth, the truth of who you are." Susannah & Ya'Acov
