The Broken & The Unbroken – Why Ritual Matters in the Modern World.
Join us for an extraordinary evening at the Totnes Consciousness Café where Ya’Acov Darling Khan, a renowned shaman and best-selling author, explores “The Broken & The Unbroken – Why Ritual Matters in the Modern World.”
This talk delves into the transformative power of embodied rituals and their necessity in today’s hyper-connected yet emotionally fragmented society. Ya’Acov will invite us to acknowledge the landscape of what is broken in us and in the world and share how ritual serves as a bridge to reconnect our fragmented selves with the unbroken essence of life.
Discover how the time-honoured traditions of shamanic ritual, brought forward into contemporary forms, can mend the fractures within us and between us, turning our scars into sources of strength.
This is more than just an evening talk. With his drum and guidance, Ya’Acov will invite you to experience the power of the unbroken as it exists within you. Resourcing and empowering, the evening will support you to remember and deepen your commitment to playing your role in our collective evolution from Homo Sapiens Sapiens to what he calls Homo Sapiens Benevolus. We may come to understand that the salvation of the broken lies in the embrace and remembrance of the unbroken.
