“Name it to tame it.” Ya’Acov Darling Khan

In a world in which we are educated to blame others, feel sorry for ourselves and to live inside the story of our own disempowerment, those who wish to make a difference understand the necessity to change this perpetual drain on their energy. For themselves yes. But also, for all that they love.

Vicious circles within us and between us, are fuelled by the well-known roles of the victim, the persecutor and the rescuer.  However, the hidden power behind our suffering is the Hungry Ghost who keeps us imprisoned in our addictions. This leads us to disown and therefore unconsciously abuse our power.

Those who say forgiveness is a sign of weakness haven’t tried it.’ Archbishop Desmond Tutu

When we move intentionally to consistently discover and evolve who we are, our core physical and spiritual strength can be deeply supported by the elemental powers and their related archetypes that we work with in Movement Medicine™. They are The Wounded Healer, The Dancing Warrior, The Dancing Fool and The Wise Elder. In this workshop, though we will touch into all the roles and archetypes, our specific focus will be The Wounded Healer whose embodied blend divine mama and divine papa medicine is hugely important to our wellbeing on every level. It is The Wounded Healer who can provide the nurturing and illumination we need to choose a path of self-acceptance and self-determination and break the chains of our addictions.

Ya’Acov will return to Lucerne once again, to offer this work which in a very real sense, is life-changing.
