Apprenticeship Programme

Movement Medicine Apprenticeship programmes give a deep sustained dive into Movement Medicine practice. They are for those who wish to deepen their experience of this path with skilled guides who know this work inside out. Attending an Apprenticeship Programme is an essential pre-requisite to Professional Training in Movement Medicine.

Having run 7 Apprenticeship programmes, Susannah and Ya’Acov are completing their last one (AP7) in July 2022.  Forthcoming Apprenticeship programmes will be taught by a cohort of experienced and skilled Movement Medicine teachers who have completed the CPD (Continued Professional Development) pathway) with Ya’Acov and Susannah.

David Mooney and Yasia Leiserach are presently teaching their first Apprenticeship programme (AP8) in Hungary and are currently planning their next one. In addition, there will be other programmes emerging soon. As soon as we have more details we will publish them here.

In the meantime, if you are interested in this path, then using the Movement Medicine Study Hub and diving into the lessons is a strong way to dive into Movement Medicine (MM) and get to know the mandala. It’s been designed to be both accessible, and at the same time to gives support, inspiration and clarification for those who’ve been in this or similar fields for the long term…

Join the wait list here, or you can join immediately through buying a ticket to a Tribal Heart ceremony.

And if you’re lucky enough to have a local MM teacher (link to MMA) then do go and dance with them. Each person offering movement medicine does so with their own particular flavour. At the same time, we believe that the work is coherent across the different personnel and mediums through which it is communicated. Enjoy!

My experiences on the dance floor re-wire my brain, and shape my wider life, helping me to be a better mother, partner, social worker, manager, friend, gardener – everything!Margaret Davies
The gift of my journey so far is the returning feeling of embodiment: of body, heart and mind connected, which finds expression in presence and happiness.Andrea Rainer
