A Movement Medicine Ceremonial Intensive for Women
with Susannah Darling Khan
In the deep women’s journey that is Sanctuary, each woman becomes a crafter of ritual, making her own rite of passage and choosing how she stands at the centre of her own circle. Come dance, explore, celebrate and create ritual that is right for this moment of your life.
We humans are natural ceremonialists. We are adept at crafting symbol, theatre and story to connect with the deep psyche and communicate with the unseen world of spirit. Our ancestors created rituals to: honour rites of passage; to heal and to transform; to grieve and to celebrate. So can you. Ritual supports us to honour what is and what has been, and to call in a new imprint for ourselves on behalf of all our relations.
Most of us have inherited deep messages from our female lineages about visibility and authority. These messages operate on unconscious levels and affect what we are able to imagine is possible for us. In Sanctuary, with Susannah’s guidance, you can do the inner work of identifying and disentangling these messages so that you can free up your potency and stand in the authority of who you are now.
Movement Medicine weaves together the exhilaration of free dance with the depth of movement meditation and the spirit of shamanic practice. It challenges the paradigm of separation and reminds us of the interconnected nature of the web of life and our unique place in it.
