Realising our potential

Realising our potential

In English ‘realising’ has two meanings:
One is  ‘to become fully aware of something’ and the other is  ‘to cause to happen’
Potential means ‘qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness’.

This elective is based around two powerful processes –  the Insight Council and the SEER process. The Insight Council is a form of supported enquiry in which we benefit from the wisdom of our sisters and brothers and in return support them.. The outcome of the council is realisation of what we have got to give, how to give it, what gets in our way and how to overcome that. In the SEER process we work with unfinished stories that hold us back from realising our potential. We recover the life-energy caught up in those stories which we can then use in our lives.

During the elective we  will use the group form of the Insight Council, each learning to self-facilitate in small groups, and so  deepening our relationship to the archetypal roles used in the council. We will also work with the Insight Council in more fluid ways as a whole group in a style drawing on person centred sociodrama (this is similar to constellations work). The times of focused enquiry and catalytic work will be balanced with times to dance deeply following your own dancing journeys.

This retreat is one of the electives for the Apprenticeship and is only open to current Apprentices and those who have completed the Apprenticeship Programme.
