A Women’s Weekend to Explore Movement as Medicine
for Body, Heart & Soul with Susannah Darling Khan
This is a space to liberate yourself, to reclaim your authenticity and your power, your sensuality and the joy in being YOU. In this workshop, through developing awareness of your own authentic boundaries you will learn how to safely challenge and emerge from your normalised comfort zones to explore your truth, freedom and soul purpose in life. You will also learn simple techniques to collaborate and communicate clearly with others without losing your sense of self.
Most of us have inherited unhelpful stories from our female lineages about being visible and being in our own authority. These messages operate on unconscious levels and affect what we are able to imagine is possible for us. In Re-Claim, with Susannah’s careful and experienced guidance, you can do the inner work of identifying and disentangling these messages. Through this, you will free up your potency and be able to take a step towards standing in the autonomy, power and beauty of who you are now as a woman.
Movement Medicine weaves together the exhilaration of free dance with the depth of movement meditation and the spirit of shamanic practice. It challenges the paradigm of separation and reminds us of the interconnected nature of the web of life and our unique place in it.
Susannah Darling Khan’s background is in Anthropology and Gestalt Psychotherapy. She has been teaching conscious dance internationally since training with Gabrielle Roth in 1989. In 2007 she and her husband Ya’Acov founded Movement Medicine. She is a teacher in her soul, a dancer, singer, music maker, author and movement medicine woman whose connection with the “joy stream” of the dance is infectious. She is currently writing her second book.
